Just finished our first session of what we are affectionately calling “Luncheon & Dragons.” Introduced the game to a three guys of varying experience with RPGs. One had never played before, one played in high school, and one played in middle school in the 70s.

Fun was had by all and we are scheduling a second session some time in the next couple of weeks. Dungeon World was really easy to explain, straightforward to play, and I loved how fast paced it felt.

  1. We had an Elven fighter (named Robert) with a massive battle axe, an Elven Druid from the acetic north (named Larry who turned into a Wampa at one point), and a Halfling thief named E’lo’thi’ami’ne (I may have joked about extra XP for names with lots of apostrophes).

They took the mission to hunt down the pirate lord Mr Hobart and immediately went off to hunt down the possible treasure in the crashed galleon. A few dead sea ghouls later and we were in business!
