Ran my first face-to-face Dungeon World game on Tuesday and had a blast. I have an online campaign that’s been going for a couple of months on Roll20 but it’s nice to have beer and snacks you can share.

We actually had a death in the party before they could escape. The cleric went down once and made his last breath roll with a 10 but the second time whiffed it horribly. But he still had a blast and was immediately rolling up a character for next time. We had 1 player completely new to roleplaying and he is already hooked.
Sounds like my first sessions over the weekend. We also had a girl who never role-played before who had a blast, and a fatal Last Breath move.
How old is your newly hooked roleplayer, Joshuha Owen ? I ask because I’m wondering if it’s worth it to attempt to recruit new players from the ranks of the middle-aged.
