• The book will actually be the full-body tattoo of one of the prisoners.

  1. I haven’t rolled those up yet; I’m running this as a short thing to fill in the gap from now to the end of this season of Encounters. I’m still going to put together a starting parish or two and a handful of jobs/news from the generator, but I’m taking the core DW approach of “you all start outside a dungeon”.

  2. That job is super metal!

    I can see starting in media res right before the big reveal that the map is a dude.

    How does the map being a dude complicate retrieval? What does the dude want out of all this?

  3. The map isn’t a dude. It’s a wandering golem that’s been hollowed out and is used as a prison. It wanders from city to city, taking in the worst criminals the city has to offer.
