  1. This is great!  Perfect for a one off adventure or a side quest during a Perilous Journey. It’d be fun to create an archive of images as inspiration tools somewhere, no?

  2. Like the air of brooding menace. If a player dies within the walls, do they instantly become a ghoul, or would it be a miss on the Last Breath roll? It seems to be more a Custom Move than an impression.

I would change the Demon move to remove the “non-choice” that it renders you a service for a service.

When you make an deal with the demon it fulfils the deal, roll +CHA

on 10+ both, on 7-9 choose one

    – it doesn’t mark you, so that all can see

    – the cost is what you though it was

on a miss, it owns you

  3. Well, on a 7-9 on your last breath, you come back with a racial change to “ghoul”, on a miss, you’re just another mindless monster ghoul. (I would suggest.)

  4. Tim Noyce I like the alternate demon bargain move, very nice.

On the subject of turning into a ghoul, I would probably impose it as a failed last breath result within the dungeon. Reveal an unwelcome truth! Then again it could be modelled as a custom move if anyone is interested in writing one up.

An archive if dungeon inspiration images would be very cool.
