Sharing another Compendium Class based on a character type from the Monster Blood Tattoo novels for criticism and review. This time it’s the mind-bending Wit, the subtler counterpart of the fulgars.

  1. Yes indeed! Just in the middle of writing up an ‘Alchemist’ class that should be able to fit the roles of a Skold, Scourge or Dispensurist depending on what advanced moves are chosen. Making it as a modified wizard who mixes up scripts rather than memorizes spells. Expect to see a few MBT references though, especially in the script names. 🙂

  2. If you ever find yourself with a “on a 10+, choose X” move with only X choices, your move is not structured properly. Sending also presents a non-choice, because choice #2 only has an effect if you also pick #1 (unless you meant #1 as “you know what direction they’re in” and #2 as “you know what type of creature they are”?).

It should really be rewritten so that on a hit you know their rough location, and on a 10+ choose one: you know what type of creature they are, or what you just did isn’t obvious.
